This morning while I was feeding the kids breakfast, the Puppy picked up his strawberry and said, “HEY! What’s this thing?” I think he was looking at the green stem. The Monkey then piped up.

Monkey: If you leave it out, it will decay.

Wow. My four-year-old just used the word DECAY.

Me: How do you know that word?

Monkey: Sid, the Science Kid.
